UK villagers outraged by three-day 'sex festival'
Locals in a small English village were left outraged over the weekend after a sex festival called Swingfields landed on their doorstep.
Residents in Flaxley, Gloucestershire, said 500 swingers arrived in the village for the annual festival, which cost £165 a ticket.
Pictures from the event showed a bus bar, teepees and portaloos, while posters boasted "3 is the magic number".
The location of the festival was kept secret until 48 hours before the event began, meaning locals were left a little shocked by the influx of swingers.
The festival offered three days of live music, hot tubs, live shows, and stalls selling adult toys.
According to the Metro, there was a limit on the amount of single men allowed to attend to ensure "a perfect balance for all guests", and revellers wore wristbands of different colours indicating a sexual preference.
Speaking to the Mirror, one resident said: "It was quite a shock when we went down to the gates on Thursday night to ask them to keep the music down.
"When we saw a banner with the words '3 is the magic number' and a variety of interesting images we knew this wasn't just your usual music festival."
Another said: "The fact that people can come into our village without any regard for our community which includes a large number of young families is just repulsive."
