A Brazilian man's Facebook photo of two women hugging has gone viral after he expressed his disapproval.

Two women can be seen apparently smitten with each other on a Rio Subway train platform.

And the man lets rip - but not about the two ladies.

In a clever post, he manages to give everybody a lesson in platform safety and social acceptance at the same time.

At first, his post appears to be a homophonic rant. According to the Metro, he wrote: "I'm not prejudiced, I think everyone does what you want out of your life. But I think it's absurd I be forced to witness a scene like that.

"What one does in private is your business, but, yes, what is done in public concerns me. And I refuse to see a scene like this and consider it normal."

"They are challenging social conventions and this can be dangerous. If tragedy strikes, or worse, if someone dies, who will we blame?"

But, writes the Mirror, he goes on: "What would happen to a child who sees this scene every day? Kids will think it's normal to wait for the subway on the yellow line.

"So don't act like that guy over there. Follow the example of the girls."

Hear, hear.
