The heartwarming moment a group of people joined together to rescue a man trapped under a bus has been caught on camera.

Around 20 people, including passengers from the bus and passersby, grouped together to lift the bus off the man after he became trapped under the vehicle following an accident.

Chang Suibin was knocked over by the bus in China's Henan province on Friday.

He then became stuck, with his hip wedged under the front right wheel.

But after the team of people's rescue effort, Suibin was released from under the bus in less than three minutes.



He was taken to hospital with a fractured pelvis, and is being treated for his injury.

Local traffic police officer Tang Xiaoqi was first on the scene and encouraged people to help in the rescue effort.

According to the Daily Mail, he said: 'People nearby, passengers from the bus and pedestrians waiting at the traffic lights by this intersection all came together to lift the bus.

"We failed at first, but then more people joined in - some lifting and some pulling the victim - and eventually we got him out."

According to the Express, Mr Chang said: "My sincere thanks to everybody, to the friends, to the kindhearted people of Zhengzhou.

"Good people can be found everywhere in our society."
