Cute koala casually walks down busy street in Australia

This adorable koala certainly isn't afraid of crowds as he strolls down a busy street in Australia.

The furry animal was spotted strolling around the Victorian town of Portland, even pausing for onlookers to take a photo.

Koalas are not an uncommon sight in the town.

The state government came under fire earlier this week for secretly culling almost 700 koalas in the nearby town of Cape Otway to manage the issue of overpopulation.

Koalas are threatened by urbanisation in many parts of eastern Australia but this curious little fellow looks very musch at home strolling down the city streets.
