One lucky couple had Roger Daltrey perform at their wedding - after he was staying at the hotel hosting their wedding reception in Scotland.
Carl and Susan Smith were celebrating their wedding at the Mar Hall resort, near Bishopton, Renfrewshire.
The Who star Daltrey was staying at the hotel ahead of a gig at the Hydro on Sunday evening.
Susan spotted him and asked for a photo, and Daltrey then showed off his generous nature as he joined in the festivities, even jumping on stage to perform one of his classic hits.
He heard the couple were big fans of The Who, and gave them a congratulatory speech. When urged to sing a song, he didn't hesitate and asked the band already booked for the reception, called The Milestone, to play with him.
The band said they were "gobsmacked" at seeing one of their heroes, and decided to play The Who's first hit, 'Can't Explain', even know they didn't all know exactly how to play it.
Daltrey, 70, also paid tribute to the Armed Forces after learning that Mr Smith had served in the Parachute Regiment for eight years.
According to the BBC, the couple took to Facebook to write about the experience.
Her new husband Carl wrote: "Can't believe it happened. Feels so surreal. Thank you so much, you made our perfect day even better, a gent and a legend".
