David Beckham was involved in a car accident on Saturday morning after collecting his eldest son from Arsenal's London Colney training ground.

The former England captain and his 15-year-old son were shaken but not injured in the crash, the Daily Telegraph reports.

But footballer Archie Davies tweeted: "Just seen David Beckham looks like he got in a car crash and hurt his shoulder".

David was driving an Audi when the car crashed and the airbags deployed. The driver's side of his vehicle was reportedly damaged.

A source told the Daily Telegraph: "The oncoming car was going at quite a speed."

It's not the first crash Becks has been involved in this year. In August, he was pictured carrying daughter Harper with a bandaged arm after crashing his motorbike in Los Angeles while swerving to avoid paparazzi.

Beckham escaped mostly unharmed from the crash after leaving the Shamrock Tattoo parlour in West Hollywood. Staff at the store helped him pick his bike up.

And last year, David crashed into another car when he pulled out of his Beverly Hills home with a passenger who appeared to Brooklyn with him in his black Range Rover Sport.

He reportedly reversed back into his driveway and waited for police to arrive. Officers were pictured with the football legend and there was damage to the 4x4 driven by a female driver as well as Becks' car.
