Fisherman finds 'alien' sea creature with 100 tentacles
A fisherman has found a terrifying-looking sea monster with 100 tentacles in Singapore.
Ong Han Boon, 54, said he caught the strange creature while fishing for lunch recently on the island of Sentosa.
He felt quite excited when he felt the line pull as, he explained, he was quite "peckish".
Speaking to the Mirror, he said: "I've had quite a few odd things come out of the ocean but I have never seen anything like this before in my life. It had all these arms waving around.
"I thought it looked like an alien or some kind of mutant."
We're sure he wasn't feeling quite so hungry after reeling the creature in.
Boon said he was left "completely flummoxed" by the animal, and is now hoping an expert will be able to tell him exactly what it is.
According to UPI.com, he said: "I've asked all my friends and none of them know and all my internet searches have not turned up anything that looks like this.
"So, if no one can't identify it then I guess I'm right - it's either an alien or I've discovered a new species of mutant sea creature. That would not surprise me with all the pollution they put in the water nowadays."
