However rich or famous you are, there's no skipping the extreme screening at airport security - as singer Rihanna found out this Thursday.
The 26-year-old star was reportedly asked to walk through Miami airport security five times, the Daily Mail reports.
Rihanna was wearing earrings, several necklaces and bracelets as she approached airport security, and was soon forced to remove her boots.
According to PerezHilton.com, she was also carrying a gun-printed Yves Saint Laurent clutch bag and draped an Acne leather jacket over her shoulders.
Earlier this week it was reported that Rihanna could be releasing a new album soon after she tweeted: "Burning candles inside of the studio, rappin n prayin..."
In 2012, Rihanna caused chaos when she arrived in Paris on the Eurostar after tweeting an image showing her then-25,144,825 followers exactly which train she was arriving on.
By the time she arrived in Paris, she was surprised that hundreds of screaming fans were waiting for her - and her tweets indicated that she wasn't happy about it.
She tweeted: "The French are f***** insane!!!"
Followed by: "FYI, if u push me, you WILL get pushed the phuck back! Papz and crazies included!!!"
She added: "I just had to fight my way out of a damn train station!!! Y'all are outta control with this s*** in Paris!!!"
