Woman kicked off JetBlue flight for tweeting about delay
A passenger claims she was kicked off a JetBlue plane after tweeting about the flight being delayed.
Lisa Carter-Knight was due to travel from Boston to Philadelphia when her JetBlue Flight 760 was delayed.
An hour after the plane was scheduled to depart, a fellow passenger joked about the aircraft's alcohol supply, reports CNN Travel.
The pilot misunderstood the joke and took it to be an accusation that he had been drinking.
"The pilot ran out and said, 'That's it; everyone back up at the gate; I've been accused of being intoxicated,' " Carter-Knight said.
Lisa took to Twitter to describe what was going on.

She later tweeted that JetBlue would not allow her to board the plane following her coverage of the night's events.
Jet Blue just denied me to board the aircraft due to my social media coverage of tonight's events. The pilot and staff denied service to me.

JetBlue deny this.
"The customer was not kicked off because of her tweets," JetBlue spokeswoman Tamara Young wrote in an email. "There were other customers that also tweeted and boarded the plane. As we shared, it is not our practice to remove a customer for expressing criticism of their experience in any medium. This customer however was denied boarding due to unruly behavior and creating a disturbance by the gate area."
According to Mashable, JetBlue confirmed that a customer accusation of the pilot being intoxicated delayed Flight 760 prior to departure.
"As a precautionary measure, a sobriety test was conducted. The test demonstrated the pilot was sober and as a result, he was cleared to perform his duties. Customers boarded the aircraft which departed PHL at 12:03am and arrived in BOS at 1:12am."
"In this instance, the customer received a refund and chose to fly on another carrier," Young added.
