Private island for sale off Ireland for £140,000
Thought it was just A-list celebrities who could buy their own private island? Think again.
A private island is on sale off the coast of Ireland for £140,000 - less than the average price of a UK home.
Inishdooey Island is located off the Republic of Ireland, three miles off the mainland of County Donegal, and boasts 94 acres of uninhabited land.
According to the Daily Mail, it also has a freshwater pond, pebble beaches, and tunnel caves.
The drawback? It's only accessible by boat or helicopter when weather conditions are good.
The island is being listed by Vladi Private Islands. Its website reads: "Inishdooey Island is part of a string of four islands, off the northwestern part of the Irish coast, the Donegal Archipelago.
"The other islands are Tory Island, Inishbeg Island and Inishbofin Island is the closest to shore. Especially for nature lovers, this island is a true paradise.
"This paradise island lies three miles off the mainland and is endowed with stunning views, a rich heritage, and a natural unspoiled landscape."
