A British father was killed in a quad bike accident while on holiday in Morocco.

The father of three was staying at the Kasbah Tamadot in the Atlas Mountains, a remote North African Mountain range.

Jamie Hulse, 47, lived in St Albans', Hertfordshire, where he ran a greengrocery business, reports the Daily Mail.

It is thought that Mr Hulse's bike tipped over, but police investigations are continuing, reports TavelMole.com.

Virgin Limited Editions Holidays is working with police in Morocco.

An inquest has been opened and adjourned.

The accident happened in late July and Mr Hulse's funeral was held on Friday at Sandridge, Hertfordshire.

Mr Hulse's wife Sally said: 'Our lives will never be the same. We are traumatised by the shock and devastation we are feeling.

'Jamie was well respected, kind and considerate. He always had time for everyone despite being exhausted from the unsociable working hours and his short life was filled with fun, laughter and happiness- he will be sorely missed, but never forgotten.'
