Woman viciously assaults man for using drone at beach (video)
A woman has been caught on camera assaulting a man for flying a drone at a beach.
Andrea Mears, 23, calls the police to tell them he is "taking pictures of people on the beach with a helicopter plane", before turning on the man, calling him a pervert and ripping his T-shirt.
The drone hobbyist had been flying his quadrocopter on the Connecticut shoreline when he was attacked, reports the Daily Mail.
As she attacks the man, Mears can be heard saying: "Yeah! That's what you get you little pervert", adding: "You wanna take pictures? Yeah. You're gonna see how it feels when the police come."
The man secretly began filming the assault, which helped to ensure Ms Mears was arrested rather than him when the police arrived, as she reportedly told them it was he who assaulted her.
According to petapixel.com, she was charged with assault in the third degree and breach of peace in the second degree.
She is scheduled to appear in court on 19 June.
A number of people left comments about the video on Live Leak. One said: "People that lie to the cops and then get caught by video evidence in their lies should get twice as long as what the real victim was looking at."
Another said: "For someone who didn't want her picture taken on a public beach I must say she ended up with a damn good videoclip of her on youtube instead. Nice going!"
