Man dies and two missing after speedboat overturns off Sussex coast



A man has died and two people are missing a speedboat overturned off the coast of Suffolk.

EADT reports that a man's body was pulled out of the water by a lifeboat near Ness Point on Monday afternoon but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A major search operation was launched for the further two people and continued overnight.

According to the BBC, the coastguard said the 18ft speedboat had been recovered.

The coastguard, RNLI lifeboat crews, a police helicopter and an RAF search and rescue helicopter were involved in the search.
