A video of a plane landing at Birmingham Airport in 65mph winds has become an online hit.

The wings can be seen swaying in the gales, and, according to Yahoo News, due to crosswinds, the pilot forces the plane down in a straight line as opposed to the normal gradual descent.

The video was uploaded by Jeremy Jones, who wrote: "Very reassuring that the undercarriage can take this sort of punishment without blowing itself to pieces."

Another user wrote simply: "Nailed it!", while another wrote: "Impressive landing, must have been scary to be a passenger on that flight ."
