The Duchess of Cambridge has treated baby George to his first holiday abroad with a winter trip to the Caribbean.

Kate Middleton and Prince George flew out to the idyllic island of Mustique to join the rest of the Middleton clan.

The Sun reports that six-month-old George was taken on a beach picnic by mum Kate when they arrived on the celebrity island.

While Kate and George enjoy a sunshine getaway in the Caribbean, Prince William is in Britain continuing his agricultural studies at Cambridge University.

Baby George is also set to join Kate and William on a tour of New Zealand and Australia this year.

A source told The Sun: "Prince George will have travelled more air miles in his first year than many people do in a lifetime."

Kate, George and the Middletons are staying in a £19,000-a-week villa on the exclusive island, the Daily Mail reports.

Mustique boasts just 74 villas and a small hotel patrolled by security guards on land and offshore.
