With the recent news that an airline carrier is offering its passengers loyalty points every time their dog or cat flies with the airline, a new poll by TripAdvisor has revealed that almost a third of Brits (30%) have taken their pet or pets on holiday with them*.
It's not surprising so many Brits are opting to take their animals away with them – leaving a pet behind to go on holiday can be both an expensive and stressful experience. There are often hefty bills to pay if you're sending them off to a kennel or cattery, plus the added guilt of leaving Felix or Fido behind while you swan off for a luxury break away.
