A relatively unknown Guernsey airline has been named best short-haul carrier in a new survey by Which? magazine.
Perhaps not unsurprisingly, Ryanair was voted the worst short-haul airline (for the second year running) with only 32 per cent being happy with the service, reports the Daily Mail.
The poll of 12,000 passengers put state-owned airline Aurigny top of 22 airlines, including British Airways and Easyjet.
Aurigny's customer service satisfaction rating was 87 per cent, and it was also praised for its boarding process, leg room, seat comfort, punctuality and cleanliness.
Commercial director Malcolm Coupar told the BBC the airline tried to make the flying experience as "stress-free and enjoyable as possible", and added it was "an achievement to be proud of".
