Worst selfie ever? Tourist takes picture with suicidal jumper on NYC bridge

A tourist in New York took a photo of herself with Brooklyn Bridge in the background - and a suicidal man in view.

The woman used her mobile phone to take the distasteful snap ad even cracked a smile doing it.

The New York Post published an image of the woman taking the photo and approached the holidaymaker for comment but she said: "I'd rather not."

According to the Daily Mail, she had watched the drama unfold for 25 minutes before taking out her camera.

The man was eventually saved from the bridge by police.
