Kate Moss to celebrate 40th birthday at Sir Richard Branson's Necker Island?

Updated

When you're one of the world's most successful supermodels, it's only right that you celebrate your 40th birthday in style.

So what better place than Sir Richard Branson's exclusive Caribbean hideaway, Necker Island?

According to reports in The Sun, Kate Moss is set to take her family, including mum Linda, her daughter Lila, and hubby Jamie Hince, for an exclusive trip to the British Virgin Islands to celebrate turning the big 4-0 on 16 January 2014.

And it's a great time to go, as Sir Richard has just completed rebuilding the Great House after it burned down in a fire two years ago - while Kate Winslet was staying there.

The Necker Island website reads: "After a two year absence we are pleased to say that Necker Island's Great House is once again open and welcoming guests.

"At times it's felt like quite a long wait, but as you arrive on island by boat, the view up to the top of the building takes your breath away. For the team and guests alike it feels like the island is whole again.

"First impressions are that it's just like the original, but scratch the surface and you'll be amazed.

"From the new southern terrace to the hot tub on the crow's nest to the even larger skylights which flood the room with that unique Caribbean light, this is a home like no other."
