Man banned from every hotel roof in UK
A man from Blackpool has been banned from the roof and walls of every hotel in the country by a court, reports the Blackpool Gazette.
Magistrates have also barred the 24-year old man from the walls of hotels as terms of his bail.
The court heard that David McGreavey,McGreavey had been arrested by police with a 20-foot rope trying to gain entry to the Hilton Hotel, on the North Shore.
McGreavey denied that hew was trying to burgle the building, claiming instead to police that he was on a "love mission".
His defence lawyer told the magistrates court: "My client says he was trying to make a dramatic entrance at the hotel where his girlfriend works.
"I wish to contact her and ask her about what happened."
