A 57-year-old man who met a woman online and arranged to meet her at a hotel was stunned when he opened the door to his son's wife.
The pair, from Muling City in China, lied in their online chat - Old Wang saying he was the director of a company and that he was single after his wife passed away and his daughter-in-law Lili claiming she was alone after her husband had been sentenced to five years in prison.
China Smack reports that they arranged to meet at 6pm in room 403 at a hotel in Muling City but Lili's husband, who was working abroad, returned home to find the pair's online conversation and wanted to catch his wife red-handed.
The Daily Mail reports that her husband went to the hotel. When Lili knocked on the hotel room door she was shocked to find her father-in-law. As she turned to leave the hotel, her husband arrived to confront the pair.
Her husband, Da Jun, said: "I'm out there working my ass off to earn money, half-dead with fatigue, and all the while you two are messing around."
Da Jun beat his father and hotel staff called police who detained all three.
They were questioned at the police station and Da Jun was detained for five days for assaulting his dad.
