Video: Great white sharks feed on dead whale

Tourists sailing through California's Channel Islands were treated to a rare and brutal scene of several great white sharks feeding on the carcass of a minke whale.

The passengers were on a boat with Island Packers when they saw the dead whale. Moments later the sharks appeared and devoured the dead whale.

On its Facebook page, Island Packers wrote on Sunday: "This morning's passengers were treated to a rare encounter as three Great Whites and about a dozen Blue Sharks feasted on a dead Minke Whale carcass floating in the SB Channel. Indian Summer conditions made for epic pictures!"
