Johnny Depp has reportedly checked in to a hotel in Dover, Kent, while filming his latest movie.

According to KentOnline, the Hollywood actor is staying at Wallett's Court, which describes itself as "Kent's classic British country house hotel experience".

He is shooting his film Into The Woods at Dover Castle while staying in the 17th-century Jacobean manor house.

Rooms at the hotel cost £95 a night.

Radio Times reports that in early September, the production company put out a casting call for extras to join a scene shot in the area. Other actors in the film, who may well make an appearance in Dover, include Chris Pine, Emily Blunt, Anna Kendrick and Meryl Streep.
