A Canadian woman was arrested in Colombia trying to board a flight with a fake pregnant belly stuffed with cocaine.

Police arrested Tabatha Leah Ritchie, 28, at Bogota Airport as she tried to board an Air Canada flight.

According to The Associated Press, an inspector grew suspicious when they noticed her belly was cold and hard.

Two kilos of drugs were found hidden behind a pocket of latex in the fake pregnancy prosthetic, the Toronto Sun reports.

Colombian authorities often challenge passengers they suspect may be 'drug mules' headed to North America.

In the past, smugglers have used a number of bizarre techniques to hide the drugs, from disguising themselves as nuns to inserting them in breast implants.
