Topless David Cameron shows off sunburn on Cornwall holiday

He might be the Prime Minister, but David Cameron proved he's just like everybody else when it comes to getting caught out by the sun's rays as he relaxed on a beach in Cornwall this week.

The PM also proved that mastering a beach change is no mean feat as he struggled to get his shorts on and protect his modesty behind a Mickey Mouse towel.

Mr Cameron was pictured with his wife Samantha on the popular Polzeath Beach on the north coast of Cornwall.

But while he looked happy and relaxed, his beach reading was no laughing matter, as he was spotted strolling along carrying Churchill's First War: Young Winston And The Fight Against The Taliban, by Con Coughlin.

However, he also made time to enjoy a pint of bitter with other holidaymakers at the Oystercatcher pub in Polzeath.
