A man fell to his death from a hotel window while celebrating at a stag party in Black Hawk, Colorado.

The 29-year-old died on Saturday morning after falling from the 11th floor of the Lady Luck Hotel at 4.52am.

According to 9News, police said Dirk Anderson fell onto the roof of a parking garage on the seventh floor.

CBS Denver reports that police believe he was sitting on a small ledge and fell or leaned against the screen of an open window.

Police added that there was alcohol in the room.

They are waiting for toxicology reports to determine how much he had consumed.

His death has been ruled an accident.

On Wednesday, a British man died in Ibiza after falling 50ft from his hotel balcony.

Grant Weston, 24, from Pembroke, was on holiday with around a dozen friends when he died after a night out in San Antonio.
