A British teenager is in a serious condition in hospital after falling from a hotel balcony in Ibiza.

Michael Jordan Hill, 19, fell from the fourth floor of Hotel Brisa in the island's party resort San Antonio.

According to the Daily Mail, he was visiting a friend who was staying at the hotel.

His condition in hospital was described as "very serious".

The Sun reports that when paramedics arrived, they thought he had been run over as they found him on the ground between two cars.

Last weekend, British mum Janine Mallett was found floating in the sea at the same resort in Ibiza.

Police believe the 31-year-old mother-of-two could have suffered a heart attack and drowned after going for a swim.
