Pictures: Inside the coolest hotel suites in the world

The world's 101 coolest suites have been revealed by American-based private jet magazine Elite Traveler.

The list includes some delectable rooms, including the opulent Penthouse at Garza Blanca Preserve Resort & Spa in Mexico, loved by actress Eva Longoria, and ITC Gardenia's Peacock Suite in India, popular among visiting dignitaries and high-powered CEOs.

London features six glorious abodes, the most expensive of which is the Royal Suite at the InterContinental London Park Lane, which comes in at a cool £10,000 a night. The other five are a relative bargain in comparison: The Wellesley's Penthouse Suite for £6,600 night, Suite ME at the ME London at £6,000 per night, the Cinema Suite at 51 Buckingham Gate, Taj Suites and Residences at £5,255 a night, the Dorchester Suite at The Dorchester London for £4,865 per night and the May Fair's Ebony Suite for £2,000 a night.

Of course, these amazing suites don't attract your average guest. They're mostly favoured by families, heads of state, royalty, celebrities and elite business leaders. They might not be purse-friendly, but we thought we'd show you some of the pics, just in case you're as nosey as us!
