Well, the resort of Amangiri, probably the most secluded hotel on the planet, is becoming increasingly popular among the rich and famous who want to do just that.

Tucked in a remote valley in the Utah desert, with dramatic views over a private 600 acre area of southwest USA known as the Four Corners, the resort includes a 25,000 square feet spa, a library, a gallery, an open-air lounge, a private dining room, a temperature controlled wine cellar and a swimming pool set within a sunken courtyard.

Celebrities have been descending on the luxury resort by private jet since it opened in 2009 - with Brad Pitt and Angelina Joli amongst those jetting in for some peace and quiet, reports the Daily Mail.

There are 34 suites and 28 individually designed open plan villas available to guests including desert view suites offering uninterrupted views of the valley's dunes. Prices start at $1,100 for a suite, rising to $7,500 a night to rent out a four bedroom villa. Individual villas, complete with private 700 square foot infinity pool, are also available for purchase from $4million to $6million.
