Spanish police shoot at British jetskier Gibraltar
A British jet skier on holiday in Gibraltar has been shot at by Spanish police as he was riding near a popular tourist beach.
Reports in the Daily Mail say that Dale Villa, 32, was riding his jet-ski close to a popular tourist beach near the Rock of Gibraltar when he came under fire from Spain's Guardia Civil vessel in British waters.

Speaking to the Olive Press, the father-of-three revealed how he was terrified as he took his new Yamaha Wave Runner for a test drive with family and friends.
"I was very shaken and furious," he told Olive Press.
"When a huge boat is hurling after you and you hear gunshots it is very scary.
"There were three policemen on the boat and I actually saw one of them with a gun in his hand.
"I was just about to drop my friend off at West Beach when I heard the first shot. I don't really think we took it seriously or believed it could be a gun, but clearly it was."
He added: "Anyway I jumped back on again and whizzed off before realising the boat was chasing after me and had soon fired three more shots at me."
Villa is not wanted for any particular crime and is believed to have stayed within British Gibraltar territorial waters on the jet ski.
The incident has caused a diplomatic row between Spain an the UK.
The Sun reports that Foreign Minister David Liddington has urged his Spanish counterpart Inigo Mendez de Vigo to make urgent inquiries into the incident.
"The discharge of a weapon is completely unacceptable," he said.
The British government has protested to Madrid following the "illegal incursion" by Spanish police in UK waters.
