Twelve people reportedly suffered minor injuries when a Singapore Airlines flight to London suddenly plunged 30 metres during breakfast.
Passenger Alan Cross' instagram pictures show the messy scene, with breakfast trays strewn all over the floor, and coffee splattered on the ceiling, reports ninemsn.com.
The Singapore Airlines A380-800 was hit by turbulence during the morning food service on Sunday around two hours into the flight.
A Singapore Airlines spokesperson told news.com.au: "Eleven passengers and one crew member sustained minor injuries when the aircraft experienced a sudden loss of altitude and were attended to by medical personnel on arrival at Heathrow Airport."
According to ninemsn.com, passengers all received a box of chocolates each as they passed through arrivals at Heathrow.
