Couple spotted walking close to cliff after 'massive' landslide in Dorset
A huge section of the South West Coast Path in Dorset has been lost due to an enormous landslip at Durdle Door.
A coastguard spokesman told the BBC: "It is huge - a massive fall has taken out part of the cliff. It is rather extraordinary."
The path has been sealed off, and people have been advised to steer clear from the area.
However, not everybody has been taking notice of the safety warnings.
The Maritime and Coastguard Agency Twitter account posted a photograph of people still walking along the path, with the caption: "What do you think they are doing on the edge of a collapsed cliff? There's a reason we give advice."
The cliffs at Durdle Door and Lulworth have been crumbling since the start of year.
Nic Lonsdale, duty watch manager at Portland Coastguard, told ITV News: "We are urging people to observe the warning signs and stay away from the edge."
