In recent years, the typical stag weekend has involved a boozy getaway to a European city - but that could soon change thanks to a travel company called Last Night of Freedom.
From Boxing Day, the company - which specialises in trips for stag and hen dos - will be taking bookings for a weekend expedition to the North Pole, for the tidy sum of £14,999 per person.
The Telegraph reports that organisers believe that this will be the first ever stag group to reach the North Pole and say it is "an extreme stag do for guys who want to make history."
The price includes all internal flights, an expert polar guide, helicopter rides, food and thermal equipment.
The stags will fly to Longyearbyen in Svalbard, Norway, before being dropped by helicopter three miles from the North Pole.
The group will then ski cross-country, and will camp overnight at the most northerly part of the world, celebrating their achievement with caviar and champagne. The next morning they will return to Longyearbyen by helicopter.
Matt Mavir, the company's managing director, said: "There's nothing else like this on the market for stag groups."
The online guide explains: "Go where no stag has gone before. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to round up the lads and put those Bear Grylls skills into practise. This is not for the faint-hearted, so make sure you select your expedition squad with the precision of Jose Mourinho. We're going to give you the chance to follow in the footsteps of the original arctic pioneers trips to the North Pole, just with more vodka and less frostbite."
