This is not what we call 'practising safe sex'...

OK, we don't think they're actually having sex, but one couple in Brazil obviously like to live dangerously as they enjoyed a passionate smooch while driving along the Foz de Iguacu motorway, in the country's southern state of Parana, on a motorbike at about 50mph.

Shocked passengers who saw the scene, said the pair kissed for about a minute, and could not see where they were going.

According to the Daily Mail, Fernando Nascimento, who filmed the scene which was later shown on Brazil's RPC TV station, said: "I've never seen anything like it. I was shocked, first because it is so unusual and secondly because it was so dangerous.

"I was in the passenger seat and decided to film because I thought that the motorcyclist was driving without wearing a helmet. But then I saw there were two and they were kissing.

"I was amazed. The driver opened one eye every now and again but they never unlocked mouths. I managed to film for about a minute, but I know that they kissed for longer than that, because it took a while to get out the camera."

The amorous pair have not yet been identified, but police said that if the driver was caught he would have his license suspended and receive a £200 fine.
