Airline cabin crew have to put up with all sorts of irritating behaviour from passengers, and there seems to be an increasingly long list of things we do that annoy them.
The easiest way to raise their heckles, according to a new study, is to click your fingers to get their attention. In fact, it's the most annoying passenger trait of all, according to a new survey of 700 air stewards carried out by Skyscanner.
Next, try nattering through the safety demonstration, and then asking for more blankets and pillows.
Make sure you cram too many bags into the overhead locker, and then complain that there's no space for your hand luggage.
There's a lot more you can do to irritate them besides this. Demand a specific brand of drink, and ring the attendant bell to complain about the temperature.
Oh, and at the end of the flight, make sure you stand up from your seat at before the seatbelt sign is switched off.
The list of irritating passenger habits is long and detailed - and it begs the question: is there anything we can do that will actually make cabin staff happy? According to the survey, the most perfect passenger of all is male, travelling for pleasure rather than business, in his 30s, travelling in economy, and flying alone. Which means the majority of us have irritated them before we've even got on the plane...
