Shocking video: Plane crashes into SUV coming into land on runway

The horrifying moment a small plane crashed into a moving SUV as it came into land on an airport runway has been caught on camera.
William Davis had just completed his first solo round-trip flight, and asked his wife Kandy to record his final leg, when the terrifying crash took place at the Northwest Regional Airport in Texas on Saturday.
The drivers of the SUV, Frank and Heather Laudo, told News 8: "We couldn't see anything at all, and all of a sudden equipment was falling into the car."
One pressing question immediately springs to mind: why was there an SUV driving on the runway in the first place?
According to theblaze.com, Deputy Chief Gilbert Caldwell of the Roanoke Fire Department said: "When cars cross that area they are supposed to stop and wait for any airplanes. Either the plane didn't see the car or the car didn't see the plane."

But the only warning signs drivers on the private road that crosses the runway have is the word "Stop" painted on the tarmac.
Doesn't sound like an airtight safety procedure to us... miraculously, nobody was hurt in this crash, which you can see below:
