A foot and section of leg that washed up on a beach in California have been identified as belonging to a missing hiker.
The parts were found to belong to 27-year-old Joseph McHenry after investigators used DNA from his mother to make the match.
Mr McHenry disappeared in March after telling his family he was going camping overnight in Pacifica.
Police found his car and backpack, but he has been classified as missing ever since.
According to the Washington Post, the coroner's office has not declared him dead, but San Bruno police say their investigation is now closed.
