Beyoncé beats Kate Middleton to Best Celebrity Bikini Body title

Beyoncé's curves have earned her the top spot in a Best Female Bikini Bodies poll - as voted for by the British public.

Kate Middleton was snapping at her heels in the second spot (shared with Jessica Alba), and beat out her sister Pippa (4th) and Cheryl Cole (also 4th with 8.8% of the vote each), Elle 'The Body' Macpherson (6th with 7.9%) and Kim Kardashian (10th with 3.7%).

Helen Mirren must have made a good impression in that red bikini as she came in at the 8th place with 6.9%, while Rihanna shared 6th place with Elle - no bad going for the model who is now 48.

And the boys? There's no prizes for guessing that David Beckham nabbed the top spot, with Daniel Craig, Cristiano Ronaldo, Johnny Depp, ad Hugh Jackman rounding up the top five.

Hotels.com carried out a British poll, as well as a global one and, while Mr Beckham topped both the lists, Jessica Alba stole the top spot from Beyoncé in the global poll.

According to the Daily Mail, Kate Hopcraft from Hotels.com said: "It's great to see that the royal effect spreading around the world with Kate Middleton appearing in the global list of celebrity bikini bodies.

'I'm not surprised that David Beckham and Daniel Craig top the British list, I don't think Britain would get tired of seeing pictures of those two in their trunks.'
