An interactive version of the latest British Airways ad allows viewers to make a jumbo jet taxi down their own street.

The Daily Mail reports that the ad, which can be accessed via the British Airways Advantage Facebook page, has already become an internet hit, as more than 100,000 people have already viewed their own customised version.

The original TV advert, which shows the plane passing through the streets of London to drop off spectators at the Olympic stadium, has already been seen by millions.

But the Take a Plane Down Your Street version allows viewers to input their own address or postcode so that they plane travels past their home.

One clip shows a cockpit view of the chosen street, another shows the view from a passenger window, and the third shows the nose of the aircraft travelling past homes.

BA's digital marketing manager Richard Bowden said: "The advert has an interactive feature which has proved extremely popular.

"Ten's of thousands have customised their own versions. It has created a real buzz."
