An airline in South Africa is offering a 'Fourth Wife Flies Free' deal in an apparent jibe at president Jacob Zuma - who has just married wife number four.

Zuma wed business graduate Gloria 'Bongi' Ngema in a traditional Zulu wedding ceremony known as Umgcagco at his home in Nkandla, KwaZulu Natal with his three other spouses in attendance; the practice of polygamy is not against the law in South Africa.

In honour of the nuptials, Kulula Airlines launched the cheeky promotion on its Facebook page, writing: "Inspired by regular VIP travellers with sizeable spousal entourages, the offer is open to all fourth wives when the family travels together on the Jo'burg to Cape Town route."

According to the Daily Mail, the deal states that the family must have already bought a kulula, com ticket for all wives and the husband then, upon arrival, one wife can give in her ticket, ID and proof of marriage for a refund.

Zuma's latest marriage is his sixth in total - he divorced South African cabinet minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma in 1999, and another wife, Kate Mantsho-Zuma, committed suicide in 2000.
