Super-rich name London the most impressive city in the world

Some of the world's wealthiest people have voted London the most impressive city in the world, according to a new survey.

The findings from The Wealth Report carried out by Knight Frank Research and Citi Private Bank reveal that super-rich individuals - with assets in excess of £15.5 million - rank London the best in a host of categories, including quality of life, political power, economic activity, personal safety, luxury housing and educational resources.

Snapping at London's heels was New York in second place, and Hong Kong in third.

Rounding up the top five were Paris and Singapore, reports the Daily Mail.

But London was a clear winner, with respondents from all regions except Latin America voting it the most important city.

The ultra-rich's top ten favourite cities are:

9 Beijing
10 Berlin
