Britain's richest woman has bought one of the largest - and most expensive - private motor yachts ever built in the UK.

The six-deck 314ft long vessel's price tag was a whopping £100 million. It has a fold-down "beach club", a helicopter pad, and a swimming pool which can be varied in depth.

According to the Daily Mail, it costs £250,000 just to fuel the tanks.

Former Miss UK Kirsty Bertarelli, 40, is the proud owner of her very own 314ft long Vava II, commissioned by her billionaire husband Ernesto, 46, a swiss pharmaceutical tycoon and keen sailor.

The couple set sail from Plymouth on their brand new vessel at the weekend.

Ernesto Bertarelli's £6.8 billion fortune makes him the 81st richest man in the world and the fifth richest in the UK.
