An eight-day-old baby hippo had a splashing time during his first introduction to the public at the Berlin Zoological Garden.

The pair put on a super-cute show of cuddles and closeness for visitors who were all, surely, a little bit in love.
The Berlin Zoological Garden is home to around 17,000 animals from 1,500 species, and is the most visited zoo in Europe, attracting over three million tourists in 2010.
