The Hodenhagen Serengeti Safari Park, Germany's biggest safari and big game reserve, has over 1500 exotic animals and is 200 hectares in size.

Visitors can experience an African-style safari and get close to giraffes, zebras and elephants on a 10 kilometre safari either in your own car or on the Serengeti bus.

There's also a jungle safari, where kids can visit Monkey Land, the only attraction of its kind in Germany, which has 200 monkeys tumbling about in outdoor enclosures that are partly walk-through.

And, of course, you'll get to see these adorable lion cubs.
