If you're travelling to a far-flung destination this winter then you'll find your money goes further than it would this time last year.
According to Post Office Travel Money prices have dropped in two thirds of the most popular destinations for British travellers.
Sri Lanka has been named one of the best value destinations, it is 38 per cent cheaper than its nearest rival Thailand.
Prices have also dropped in South Africa, Argentina and the Dominican Republic. The pound buys more in Kenya and Caribbean and Latin American countries. Visitors to the US, Dubai and Egypt 'will be quids in, too', says Sarah Munro, Post Office head of Travel Money.
