Heath Ledger's 'magical' Tree House home on sale for £2m

It's so magical it's was dubbed the Tree House, and now Heath Ledger's former luxury hideaway in the Hollywood Hills is up for sale for £2m.

The upmarket pad would make the ultimate holiday home, with its inside-outside feel, huge deck area, outdoor screening room and grill and fire pit.

The house, built in 1951, sits on half an acre of land in a secluded area of the Hollywood Hills.

The current owner bought the home from the estate of the late actor, who died at 28 in 2008.

The pad, which has been compared to Richard Branson's house on his Necker Island getaway, was also once owned by Ellen DeGeneres.
