What do the England rugby team decide to do on their day 'off'? Sit back and relax? Not a chance.

Instead of taking the opportunity to put their feet up, Ben Foden, Chris Ashton, Dylan Hartley, Nick Easter, James Haskell, Tom Palmer and Simon Shaw decided to take on the Awesome Foursome challenge in Queenstown - a 134-metre bungee-jump, white-water rafting, jetboating and a helicopter ride.

The activities in the New Zealand town, which calls itself the Adventure Capital of the World, come two days after their 13-9 victory over Argentina, and just a few days before their next battle on the field against Georgia in Dunedin on Sunday.

England forwards coach John Wells said it was a good way for the boys to get 'a change of scenery'.

He told the Daily Mail: 'I think it's just a case of giving the guys a break. We've been together since the beginning of June and the guys haven't had a lot of time to enjoy each other's company.

'This is an opportunity for them to do a few things and actually be together.'

And they seemed to love the adrenaline-fuelled fun, with Bed Foden writing on Twitter: 'Just completed the Awesome Foursome. Hell of a day! Love Queenstown!'
