The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent the Bank Holiday weekend cosying up with both sets of in-laws as guests of Prince Charles at his Scottish estate.
Carole and Michael Middleton joined their daughter at Birkhall House in Aberdeenshire, situated on the edge of the Queen's Balmoral estate.
The young newlyweds are thought to be delighted that both sets of parents get on so well, and a source told The Sun that an invitation to Birkhall means you're definitely on Charles' Christmas card list, saying: 'The Prince of Wales has made a huge effort with Kate's parents.
'Birkhall is his favourite retreat and the fact they have been invited shows there is a genuine friendship.'
It's not the first time Kate's parents have been invited either - they enjoyed a weekend of stag hunting on the estate around this time last year.
