The heatwave is here until Wednesday!

After weeks of dull weather and rain, the sun has finally come out - and forecasters predict that it will be warm and sunny for the next few days.

Yesterday, thousands flocked to Brighton beach to make the most of the sunshine and hundreds of well-wishers lined the streets of Edinburgh as Zara Phillips married rugby star Mike Tindall.

The warm weather is expected to continue at least until midweek, with temperatures predicted to reach 30C.

Forecasters say that East Anglia will see the best of the sunshine, but the south coast should also enjoy some sunshine.

Although there could be isolated showers in the West of England, everyone should enjoy some warm weather until Wednesday, when conditions are likely to be become more unsettled.

So if you fancy a barbecue - today could be the perfect day for it!
