Kate Moss's honeymoon island rocked by earthquake

Kate Moss and Jamie Hince's honeymoon yacht has been rocked by an earthquake that's struck the island of Corsica where it is anchored.

The earthquake measured at 5.2 on the Richter scale and lasted for five seconds. It was the strongest to hit the island since 1963 and was felt as far away as Cannes and St Tropez on the French Riviera.

The newlyweds have been cruising around the Mediterranean in Topshop tycoon Sir Philip Green's £10million superyacht on their two-week honeymoon.

'People on the shore were alarmed, but Kate and Jamie's boat has been rocking all week so they may not even have noticed,' an onlooker in the port of Ajaccio told The Sun.

'They are clearly having the time of their lives and look totally in love.'

The couple had been seen hours before the earthquake hit, swimming in the sea and spraying each other with a hose in the 35°C heat.
